Concept design

BVG app is used for transportation service in Berlin. It provides a real-time traffic information for U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus running in Berlin. You can also buy the tickets on the app.

Since lived in Berlin, I’m a user of BVG App. Despite of they provide a great concepts purchasing traffic tickets and informing all transport information, It was so complicated and unclear to use and low usability. I got frustrated with this app so I redesigned it.

The purpose of the service is to provide transport information and a simple way to buy tickets. We redesigned the app for more intuitive usability on UI screen. I reduced overall complexity and focused more on contents in order to optimize the UI design.
